xbox live ...whats been your worst experience with the service ?

The enforcement does investigate every complaint, that is a fact. However the definition of the word investigate could be up for debate.

By the look of your profile you are either new to xbox live, or are on a new profile due to a ban.

The enforcement team do not "talk" to anyone, they use private messages or the suspension forum to communicate.

If they have indeed told you what you say above, maybe you could link us that statement as proof.

 

I have loved xbox since the first generation xbox and even more so with the second generation xbox360. However i do know as should there are bound to be people that are un happy with the service they are provided whether the reason is Legitimate or not.
However my complaint would be that i have had my gamertag SexAssassian for sometimes With no problems until today when i got on and i got hit with the forced name change. Now i want this to be understood i know that i am at fault i went and read the code of
conduct i handt before which is my falult. But the thing that im *** about is that the point blank fact that when people file a complaint about you through xbox its just that the dont have to describe in what way they are offened or upset which i think is
wrong. Only because Im normally docile when it comes to gaming i dont trash talk unless someone i know is disrespected for no reason aside from that all the people i have played with have enjoyed the name had fun with it and joked with me about it. My problem
is that people can file complaints for no reason just because they dont like because your black, hispanic or whatever and they talk all their friends into reporting a person. I know it to be true and evident because i have seen it first hand plenty of times.

 

It makes no difference whatsoever how many complaints you get against your tag, for whatever reason, if you have done nothing wrong you will see no effects.

Your tag violated the code of conduct, you don`t need an explanation of why it was, its obvious.

 

^^ spot on.You could have one or one hundred complaints filed against you,you won't get banned/suspended if you have done nothing wrong.

Also,on the xbox one,you can add a message/explanation when you file a report.

 

^ While you won't get banned for doing nothing wrong more times complaints filed can (but won't necessarily)increase your chances of a ban. The first time filed an enforcement representative may decide your gamertag is harmless, and doesn't violate the terms
while a month later one may decide it is. This is moreso ture for for violations that aren't black and white but in the gray area.

 

You can be reported a million times, it will not increase your chances if you have done nothing wrong.

If you have a tag "in the gray area" and it is getting reported a million times by different people, then yes there is a increased chance of getting it forced changed.

That said, the code of conduct is very black and white, you will struggle to find a tag in that gray area.

 

Every thing just falls on deaf ears with them. Incompetence.. I've a ps4 but bought the xbox one for a better and faster graphic experience. I think i may sell the xbox

 

They are not incompetent at all, i guarantee whatever they did to you was justified.

You just didn`t follow simple rules.

The more people like that, that move to PS4, the better.

 

The bizarre thing for me is with the moving to PS4 threat is that the Sony Enforcement Team would treat them in the exact same way.

 

Exactly, they seem to think sony have no rules.

They also seem to think anyone else honestly cares if they go.
