Only thing i notice is that my account email vs xbox live email account has an uppercase Gmail vs lowercase gmail.

Would this be enough to be causing my issues?

you need to set the console as a home console with the account with the subscription. On one console, another account can play any installed game, but on the second console, you'll need to sign in to the shared account. if you have more consoles you
need to buy another subscription.
