    Xbox Live Vision Camera on Xbox One


    So I've been playing Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise (Xbox 360) on my Xbox One through backwards compatibility for about a week now, and I've come across a couple features that require an Xbox Live Vision Camera from the 360 era to scan QR codes and such.
    Before I consider purchasing one, does anyone know if the Vision Camera would actually work on the Xbox One?

    Is the xbox live vision camera backwards compatible with the xbox one? I wanna play Burnout Paradise online to unlock the camera achievements in the xbox one.

    Hi Player314440062,

    Sorry you're having issues with your game. The Xbox Vision Camera will not work with the One unfortunately. I haven't tested the Kinect in that game personally ,but if it's not working with backwards compatibility then I would say it likely wont.

    That said, this is still a preview feature so I recommend posting any other questions in the preview forums located here.

    Hello,

    You cannot use the Xbox LIVE Vision camera to change your gamer picture. The only thing that the Xbox LIVE Vision camera can be used for gamer picture related is your personal picture.

    A gamer picture is what everyone on Xbox LIVE sees for you (the ones that aren't your friends). Your friends will see what you have for your personal picture.

    It is not possible to use your computer to make a profile picture. The only way you could use a custom gamer pic is to use the Xbox LIVE Vision camera, but this will only allow you to customize your personal gamer pic (only people your friends list would
