Discus and support Xbox Live using Money in Account in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; is it possible to use the money in my Xbox account to buy Gold Membership?     is it possible to use the money in my Xbox account to buy Gold Membership? I've tried to use my credit card before but Microsoft doesn't seem to like it and I prefer to use cards. Currently can't go and buy a membership card atm.

    Xbox One S Limited Edition Minecraft Console

    I bought one using my Xbox credit that's been on my account for years. Had no idea MS now lets you pay for hardware using Xbox Live credit, but this was a good way to use up that credit. Will probably just sell the console and then use the money to get a Switch.

    No. Gold can only be purchased using a credit card/Paypal or buy purchasing a prepaid gold card. There are sites that do sell gold subscriptions as a digital code. So you still wouldn't have to go anywhere.

    And again that makes no sense! As I already stated I've tried using both xbox as home console but second account can't use live so I've just wasted yet more money buying an xbox that won't work unless I spend even more money on a second live account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You have never been able to use account money to buy xbox live.

    You must use a credit/debit card,paypal or a xbox live subscription card.
