Xbox Live - Unfair Ban

Today my brother tried to sign into his Xbox Live Account when he got home and he was confused to see the notification "Disconnected From Xbox Live" and then he gets a message saying "You have been suspended until 31/12/9999.'' He came to my room and told
me about the incident. I then told him to sign into my account and see if I was banned and well, I was. I then checked all other accounts on the xbox 360/xbox one and they were all banned or couldn't do anything online. I checked my email and saw that the
reason for my ban was "Impersonating staff'. I don't recall impersonating any staff as I dont play on my xbox account very often and my brother said he didn't. The gamertags that were banned were Winyah (XBOX360), Checked 4 Lice (XBOX360) and Wacky fruit (XBOX1).
I called Xbox Support and they told me to come here. Not sure if you can do much and if this is the right place to put this post, but any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

My account was banned without any reason

Hello, first i'm french so my english isn't perfect. Yesterday my account was banned from the xbox live for "unfair action" but i don't understand this ban. I never made a bad or unfair action. In other side, when the ban started, i was in a game with my
friends so i could not be "unfair" with others.

This is all you can do. Just wait it out. so what if you got banned for a week. At least it was not till 12/31/9999

@navy thats how all services handle suspension online as thata the business norm

Becausse its is moderated that means no repeat questions and no spaming trying to get a reversal

The reason why forums are norm for suspensions for all servicez including ps4 is because a phone number will not solve your issue

They have to moderate millions of players 50+ millions on xbox live lets say there is 1m bad players who cheat havk etc etc

They would spam the number to try and force the ban reversal noone would be able to get thru

Suspensions are always handled professionally and investigated multiple times before they are issued they will only reveal it in a court as theybdont want to give away how they caught yoi

Evidence is also private and not understood by normal users as it is network data or private interactions depending on the ban

With bbb anyone can file a complaint doesnt mean it is legitimate

As this is rhe online business norm

 

Most of the time the users know why they were banned but feel that they can pretend to play fair or follow the rules

As there are 10s of millions of legit users remember not all ban are gameplay related

Multiple violations of certain rules likr harrassment or naming rules ior even account modificationis also liable to enforcement actions all seen bynthe enforcers via network data which is legally thenproperty of xbox live

 

If you want to know about one time this mother actually took it to the press about her sons gamerscore reset

Not only was it revealed publically that she paid the moder to adjust her sons account but she issued a public appology she did not know it was wrong

 

Remember there is a room full of lawyers backing up ms and they also write the terms of use

Live life andbplay fair it is that simple

 

That is with any terms of use they have to be written by lawyers so they stand up in court

The pet team also gathers all evidence before issuing a ban and it is reviews by multiple teams

Its not just one person who reviews decisions
