Xbox Live: Unable to Sign In

I Sign in on Xbox Live daily. Now today I got booted off, signing in takes about 5 minutes now and the system tells me, "unable to sign in, if problem continues, contact support". No error codes, nothing. Cannot access the connection tests and the Xbox menu
is not available at the sign in screen. Suggestions?

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

 

Problems signing into live on the xbox1!

Sorry to hear about the issues. Let's try the following:

• Turn your Xbox 360 console off
• Unplug everything from your Xbox 360 (power cables, USB's, internet cord, Kinect sensor, etc)
  
• Disconnect and unplug power from your home network (Unplug power from your router and modem)
  
• Leave everything unplugged for at least 5 minutes
• After 5 minutes, re-connect your network hardware and allow it to boot up
• Once your network is back online, reconnect your Xbox 360 console
• Boot up your console and try to connect to Xbox Live
