Xbox live trial on Xbox One did not renew for xbox 360 (same account)

I used a Xbox live 2 day trial (that i actually really need right now) on my Xbox one and seeming Xbox live gold is usually shared to xbox 360 on the same account i assumed the trial would do the same ...am i mistaken and trials are only available to one
console regardless of the same account or is there an issue i am missing?.

If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?


WHITTEN: Yes this works! You'll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time. However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at a time

Can You use the same profile on the Xbox One?

Can you use the same Xbox Live profile on the Xbox One, and the Xbox 360?

I am asking because when i bought my Xbox One. i did not even try to sign in with my Xbox 360 account. Simply because i thought that it would not be possible. Now i am seeing some of the same people from the Xbox 360, on the Xbox one.

Are they just using the same username? Or is it the same account?

 

Some trials are game specific, so that might be the problem here.
