Xbox Live Trial Codes Redeemed; Cannot Play Online

Two codes wasted, a two-day one and a 14-day one. Both were redeemed. I tried again and it said the codes were already used. Yet I still can't play. I'm calling support tomorrow. How do you have codes that can be redeemed but not work?

i just redeemed a code for a 14 day trial for xbox live and tried to play a game online but its telling me to upgrade to gold?

I redeemed the Xbox live gold trial for 14 days and I tried to play online cod ww2 and fortnite with friends and it wouldn't work it said I'm not aloud to play online what wrong

First of all trial codes do not stack so using 2 is a waste of one of the codes.. I believe the fine print on the token explains that.

In the 2nd place 2 day and 14 day codes do not grant Gold status to play online except for the game or games the token or tokens came with. A 30 day trial will grant Gold status.

Phone support should be able to help.

An Xbox Live Trial Code is only a trial code and gives only limited access to full Gold features. You cannot play in ranked online matches (try unranked) and will not show as a Gold membership on your gamercard.

The following limitations and restrictions apply to Xbox Live trials from games or console bundles:

If you have an existing paid Xbox Live Gold subscription, you can’t redeem an Xbox Live Gold trial from games or console bundles to extend your subscription period. However, you can redeem the digital code once your current paid subscription expires.
Redeemable codes for Xbox Live Gold trial subscriptions are only available in select games and console bundles.
You can’t stack redeemable codes for Xbox Live Gold trials from games or console bundles. This means that you can’t start another trial period before your current trial period has finished. However, you can purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription and start
that subscription at any time during the trial period.
