Look, idiots.

If you want to lose your market, keep it up. I understand that technical problems will crop up, but I've been having issues for over 24 hours and the Live site STILL shows all services are UP.

LIARS. If you status page was accurate, I would have just been patient.

I'm mad as hell at wasting all my time trying to diagnose everything else when I finally located the Xbox Support Twitter feed and see confirmation of my problem...echoed by everyone else commenting in the feed.

But that's not the worst of it: The last post from Xbox Support reads as follows:

"The earlier alert for Xbox.com & Xbox 360 sign-in errors has been resolved, along with the search functionality on Xbox.com. Thank you for sticking with us while our teams addressed those issues!"

Every comment following that post at 5:02PM July 31 all state the same error as me (2 hours after the post):

Change the damned status on Xbox live to DOWN or my next console will be something else along with few hundred thousand others.

Does XBOX live still work for the Xbox 360?

Xbox live stills works for Xbox 360 as it always did. Support hasn't been altered, yet.

That's the last date I know of, in line with PSN support for PS3 being discontinued. I think the Microsoft date came from Yusuf Mehdi where they pledged another 3 years for 360 and that was in late 2013. Or regardless of whether it is actually Dec 2016 or in 2017, do you think that 'support' maybe meant customer support and not XBL support? Surely backwards compatibility has to change their plans.Click to expand... this, cutting off xbox live so soon does not make sense to me. Especially since people are paying for it.

to get more information on a charge made to your account. Based on the information provided, you've already tried contacting customer support and are unable to get ahold of a live representative. As well you've also tried filling out the

Request a Refund Form, but there has been no success on the website at this time. I suggest still trying to submit that form maybe on another PC or Laptop. Otherwise continue trying to contact customer support(Steps listed below), unfortunately we can not
help with any billing issues here on the forums. Sorry bud. I do hope you get this issue taken care of, please let us know how it goes.
