Xbox live subscriptions

Dear Community,

Recently my xbox live subscription ended, on the 2nd of December. I did not have the money in my account to renew it. I did this as I did not have the opportunity to cancel auto-renewal.

However having come to pay for a new 1 month subscription, as I wish to change it to that, Xbox doesn't let me. It comes up with a message telling me that I have an ongoing subscription that needs to be attended first.

I try to sort this out however it doesn't give me the option to cancel the previously ended subscription. It doesn't let me remove payment method, stating that it is part of a transaction in process.

This is really frustrating as nothing seems to work, I can't purchase a new one, cancel the old one, remove the bank account and finally manage the subscription. Lastly I ant get hold of human on the xbox support line.
