    i used the free 14 day xbox live and renewed it when it expired. However, it says my account is past due on the console itself, but on the Microsoft site it says I'm up to date on payments and that my next one is due October 19. Why wont it let me use Gold?

    Hopefully Getting My First XBox One Today!!!

    Congrats! The Live subscription works for both the 360 and Xbox One. It's not different subscriptions.

    the same thing is happening to me and it's very frustrating. I called support but they didn't seem to know what to do either... It wont even let me use my FREE trial because it says my payment is past due... How is a payment past due when there wasn't even
    a payment to begin with???
