    I can't join parties or online games. I'm supposed to be under Xbox gold but it won't let me do the things I'm supposed to be allowed to do. I try to pay for a new subscription but it says " only a limited number allowed on any one account." It says I have
    a free one month trial but I don't even have that option.

    Hopefully Getting My First XBox One Today!!!

    Congrats! The Live subscription works for both the 360 and Xbox One. It's not different subscriptions.

    One the forums the account you are using is showing a silver. Did you use a trial code? If so what kind of trial code. Is there a payment method saved on the account?
