    Hi! Posting this from another outlook email, because I can't get into the one I had signed into my Xbox on.

    So as the title says, I did a free trial of Xbox Live Gold? I can't remember. I pay $16 monthly for it.

    The account its under I cannot remember the password, I have my Xbox gamertag for it. The device ID, even Screenshots of the day I made it. Took the screenshot of the birthdate and what region and the outlook email.

    I have tried multiple accounts recoveries, all have failed. I am the owner of the card used to pay for it. I've tried calling and I couldn't get through. Can't email because its on another outlook account.

    I don't want to file a bank claim, if I have to I will. I've been at this since the first payment went through, back in August 2020.

    I'm just wondering if I'm out of luck on this since Microsoft states I can't recover passwords and such through support. I don't even use the Xbox live because I can't sign into the account on my Xbox anymore.

    As of today, a payment tried to go through but it was declined and Microsoft hasn't retried my card yet, will they? Or will they just cancel my account because of insufficient funds. Because I'm thinking that could be a solution too, since I've basically tried everything.

    Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

    This could be either an issue with your xbox live subscription or a suspension issue. Sign into your account on the Xbox and look at the subscription

    it shows you as gold on the forum (your name is orange instead of gray) when ever you use a gold card it over writes any trial your running, just as you cannot use the 14 day trial when on a gold account only silver. if you cannot connect to live you can
    delete your profile (profile only not profile and saves) or do a speed test this will refresh your connection to the LIVE servers and you will be able to play online. if not, feel free to contact support for your region, happy gaming :).

    Hey sickbladez, I'm really sorry to hear about this issue! Taking a look at your account, there isn't a record of the subscription as you know. Since there isn't a record of it, I'm not sure what we can do for you here on the forums. Did you by chance save
    the receipt for the membership? Maybe you can take it back to Best Buy! Let us know if you do. :)

    You will need to contact the online support for further assistance regarding this. Access Contact us | Xbox Support. Follow the instructions after clicking on the green button "Contact us" and choose to get help either from an online chat agent or request a callback. Make sure the region on the support website is set to your correct region in order not to find issues with the steps.
