Xbox live subscription ‘expired’ after 2 days

They will be able to look into your account and subscriptions etc and hopefully see what happened.

Hi, thanks, but it did not work. I cleared the cache and made sure there were no corrupt profiles or data. However, it still will not download my profile. However, looking at this thread:

Several people in the thread had this same 800704 DC error after their XBOX Live Gold subscription expired. Mine just expired 2 days ago and these issues came up right after, so I think that the expiration of my gold subscription is what is causing this.
Might there be a way to look at that and for the engineers to do what was done for them?

Good day. It's not allowing me to contact support. I believe my prepaid subscription expired 4 months prior to expired date because I activated the code in October 2020.its a 12 month subscription for Xbox live gold. And it expired on 03 05 2021.how in the hel is this possible. I need a refund or answer. If it is a 12 month subscription how can it expire after 7 months. This is not how I pictured Microsoft treating their clients. This is false advertising at its best. If this is not resolved I will be taking court actions against Microsoft. This is not my wrong doing.

But we both have our own live subscription. My subscription expires after his though.

We understand the confusion regarding Xbox Live Gold Codes expiration dates. Some games or console bundles may include a prepaid code for a 2-, 3-, or 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial. This trial starts as soon as you activate the prepaid card. However,
when it says the code is expired, it is because the code is no longer active. It's like how you could buy food, but it is no longer good after the expiration date given.

When the code says it is already redeemed, then that means it was used by someone.

Unfortunately, Xbox Support may not be able to replace the
Xbox Live Gold Trial Subscription. If the code was expired right out the box, I would recommend contacting the retailer it was purchased from. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however, if it was just that the code was not entered right
away despite having it already then you would need to purchase Xbox Live Gold for the account.
