¿Qué videojuego te hizo amar los videojuegos en linea? / What video game made you love online video games?

Muchos de nosotros jugábamos antes de ese juego y en esos momentos solo los vimos como "Ah, sí esta cool" o "Es lo que todos juegan" pero quien fue ese juego que te hizo sentir y decir "no es solo un juego".

Many of us played before that game and in those moments we only saw them as "ah, yes it's cool" or "It's what everyone plays" but who was that game that made you feel and say "it's not just a game".

¿Cuál ha sido ese juego al que le tienes mucho aprecio/cariño/nostalgia? ya sea porque en ese momento lo jugaste con tu hermano, amigos, padres, familiares o hasta eso te ayudó en un momento difícil, quiero leerlos, saber esa buena experiencia en linea.

En lo personal Fue Halo 5 Guardians, por las personas que conocí, el iniciar en el online para alguien que no había jugado ni un juego, la idea era algo abrumadora, pero muchos de ellos me apoyaban para ir comprendiendo el juego, y me mostró lo que es un juego
en equipo, y posteriormente me hizo conocer a muchos de ellos en persona en eventos como Gaming Nigths, Xbox Fan Fest, y claro las reuniones por mera amistad.

no soy de jugar mucho online osea, el multiplayer. pero recuerdo que uno de esos juegos que me hizo conocer gente y hacer buenos amigos hasta la fecha, fue Minecraft JAJA pasé divertidos momentos construyendo y explorando minas. Otro fue Destiny, que hizo
reencontrarme con compañeros de la escuela que tenía tiempo que no veía.

I don´t play online a lot, I mean, the multiplayer. But I remember that one of those games that made me meet people and make good friends until now, was Minecraft ahahA I spent fun moments building and exploring mines. Another was Destiny, it allow me
play with schoolmates who had time I did not see.

For me, it was Phantasy Star Online on Dreamcast. Many folks had the luxury of having internet access in the mid-late 1990s, and it took me to 2002, to get online at home (albeit briefly)! The interactions, cute noises, gameplay, making friends with Guild
Cards, exchanging items in real time.. it was all an amazing experience.

Fun fact: The place where I used to live, had a BT payphone in the hallway. I unplugged it from the wall, and inserted my Dreamcast cable, to get online! For 2 hours of playtime, I was charged around £26.. *ow0'

There were 2 instances, where I was
NOL'd by hackers and lost my character inventory and data, but that didn't stop me from making a new character and continuing. You'd know if it was happening, if your console froze (PK).. luckily, we are well protected these days.

Aah, the memories of
playing games in internet cafes.. lol! <3

In more recent times, Halo 3, Gears of War and Doom have brought some great friends together. After this years E3, I was in tears over the announcement of PSO 2! CAN'T WAIT. I hope to make more friends on PSO2 and re-live it all over again.
