Xbox Live Store issues - MS need to get this stuff sorted out

I downloaded Pinball FX2 when it was released. All of the tables I'd bought on the 360 transferred over just fine. Cool. Then some more tables were released that I also owned on the 360, except it asks me to pay for those. Weeks later and the issue is not
fixed. I spent ages tweeting Xbox Support who asked me a whole bunch of questions before eventually saying "you need to contact Zen Studios". Zen Studios say they're trying to get it fixed. It's clearly a Store issue.

I bought the Titanfall season pass on day one. The recent IMC Rising DLC pack came out and it showed as costing £7.99. This affected all season pass holders and even though at one point MS claimed to have fixed it and said it'll be available in 4 hours at the
most, it took much longer than that before I could actually download it for free.

Now Forza Horizon 2 has just been released and there's tons of people on NeoGAF saying that their pre-orders didn't unlock after midnight.

It makes me lose faith in pre-ordering and buying digital content. MS are one of the biggest software companies in the world. They have led the way with online gaming on consoles and shown other companies how it's done, but now nearly a year after the Xbox
One was launched and we're still suffering with issues that should have been worked out long ago.

Xbox Store Pre-Order FAIL

All this bitching over three in-game items that easily don't equal the value of a month of Xbox Live?

Seems a bit much and unnecessary. There was an issue with the service. Which as they said, they don't guarantee. That doesn't mean that they will take your money and run. It just means that sometimes there are issues with things on the Internet, which may cause problems with a service such as an online store. Sure, it took you some time to get it sorted out, but you got it sorted out and a free month of Live about it. Sounds to me like you came out on top.

yea im having loads of issues with xbox live cant connect to xbox live or my dashboard crashes and i get an error code 800705b4 about time microsoft sorted these issues out had enough of the crap

 

New online service (XBL on the XB1) = New problems. Be patient, they will be addressed over time as long as they're aware of it (and they are). You have to remember - it took years for the XBL marketplace on the X360 to get where it is today. The same is
happening with the XBL store on the XB1. It's the same thing that happens to every new service - they all have their speed-bumps when they first release that eventually get ironed out. Have faith and take heart.
