    Xbox Live Storage Full - Error (not full)


    Xbox Live storage was completely purged when not full and I'm still unable to upload via Windows 10 app or Xbox One with returned error always stating storage is full.

    Attempted to use chat support, but lets say that resulted in all my local DVR storage being deleted (thanks Brenda...), so I'm hoping someone else may have a solution.

    Everything was fine up until yesterday. No changes have been made on my end and my storage wasn't close to full yet.

    Using my 10 app, the Xbox One, and my account.xbox profile I can see that my Live storage is empty, so I should be able to upload. Whenever I attempt to upload from Xbox or the app I get a storage full error.

    I've rebooted everything possible on my end, but I know that's not the issue. Since Live is responding with storage full I believe it's a profile error on Live side, but that had supposedly been reset and I deleted and re-added my profile on all the things.
    Anywho, I'm pretty much lost here and can no longer upload to Live, which prevents downloading to my PC or sharing with friends.

    Here's all I've done thusfar:

    - Rebooted router, Xbox, and PC.

    - Deleted/re-added profile on App and Xbox after one tech told me they reset my profile/account.

    - Reset Xbox - Keep games and apps. (this is where Brenda didn't think about it deleting my local DVR and I could throat punch her right now for all I just lost... not nice I know, but losing my DVR items wasn't fun).

    - Toggled settings for uploading; with reboots in between.

    Honestly, I'm at a loss and it really seems like this is on MS side and I can't get a resolution.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    So like everytime a new game(s) comes out I have to uninstall a different game to install the new game. It's always hard to decide what game to uninstall, bc I like all my games. Eventually I get to the point where I want to play the game I uninstalled again,
    but I have to uninstall another game so I can reinstall the game I uninstalled before. If I buy a game on the marketplace it'll install, same if i buy a game on a disc, except i cant play the game i bought on a disc without the disc in, so is it necessary
    to even buy them on disc when if i buy them on the marketplace i can play without the disc, both ways the games going to install onto the hard drive. I spoke to a friend of mine who told me soon that the xbox one is going to support the ability to use external
    hard drives, or something, but i really hate having to install and uninstall games all the time, When i first got the xbox one and put a disc in i was so excited about to play, nope i had to sit there for like 5 hours maybe longer n wait for the game to install.
    I was thinking yes! its all done setting up let me put my game in and play finally im so excited i cant wait to see what it looks like lol i wish it was like that...still

    Since editing has been disabled...

    Update: Was able to upload from a different profile, so it's definitely profile specific as I thought and seems to be an issue with clips only. I tried to upload a clip that was 0.9MB and it failed. I was able to upload a screenshot that is 0.3MB four times
    in a row, so it's not a space issue.

    Anywho, I guess I just get to play the waiting game and hope that this gets resolved in the next couple days. If not, not real sure what my options are.

    Hey ayvadur! If you select manage your clips through the upload studio, and then select "On Xbox Live" from the drop down menu in the top left corner do you see any clips? If possible could you post a screenshot so we can take a look at what you're seeing?

    Made a quick video for you that summarizes it. I just want to reiterate that this isn't only on the Xbox One. The Windows 10 app is also unable to upload clips to Live. When I used a temp account to test with, both were able to upload.

    Yes, it always has been and never had a problem; though in my video I did a manual upload and it didn't work either. I've entertained support by doing everything requested, given videos, in-depth explanations multiple times, was escalated (ref # 1378812625
    or ref # 1379046604) days ago, and have been told to wait.

    Understand my frustration here in that everything points to this being on your end of things and I don't have domain access to your network to look into and resolve my own problem. Has your technical team looked at my profile, storage allocated to my profile,
    or the link between my profile and storage? Has ANY technical work at all been done on my case by anyone other than myself?

    I look forward hearing back tomorrow so that I can reply and wait another 24 hrs as that's exactly what my support case has become, a once a day query/reply that results in no resolution.

    It's not the Xbox. If you log in with a temporary profile the Xbox will upload. Same with my Windows 10 app. It's strictly profile related and not something we can resolve ourselves. Too bad this support is a joke. Microsoft has beaten Comcast for worst
    support and is having issues keeping their own environments stable. I don't expect this to be resolved anytime soon consider it's taken them an f'n week already and no resolution. When forum support is where tickets are escalated to, something is wrong with
    their internal procedures. GG MS.

    Would seem proper teams resolved. Thank you Mister CiZl. Honestly thought I'd end up having to roll with a new profile, so pleasant surprise this morning.

    I was able to upload from the W10 app instantly without any troubleshooting. For the Xbox One I ran into some issues with it trying to communicate with Xbox Live storage as it wouldn't pull the current library.

    -Normal reboot: didn't fix.

    -Signed out/in: didn't fix.

    -Removed profile, rebooted, re-added: Didn't fix.

    -Pulled power cord from back (hard boot) and waited 20 seconds. Plugged in, fired up, and upload works now. Tested auto-upload as well and everything seems to be working as it should.
