    Xbox live signup unavailable


    trying to re-up my account to xbox live access. Trying to change parent account but it gives me the....... Xbox live signup unavailable message....going on two months....everybody else on the system works

    Can't Recover Gamertag!!!!

    Every time I try to recover my gamertag it says Xbox LIVE signup is currently unavailable.

    Hey there Samurai Suzuki!

    Sorry to hear about the membership issues. Just to clarify, how exactly are you trying to sign up for a Gold membership? Through your console or xbox.com? Are you receiving an error code when attempting to sign up for a Gold membership?

    Just let us know a few more details and we will see what we can do to help get this issue sorted.

    I also have been trying for hours to get my son signed up for a live account and it keeps telling me "Sorry, Xbox Live signup isn't available right now. Try again later. This is ridiculous!!!

    same issue re-up my son's acct for 12 months -- and now it's not accessible because signup is currently unavailable

    Try to add the Subscription through the website by logging in and going to account then subscriptions. If it won't let you do it on the website as well as the console call into support to get more help. Be forewarned the most likely fix for this will be
    creating a whole new account as there is no fix for this issue currently. If you have a current subscription on the account and are having this problem the agent will transfer whatever gold time is left on the subscription to the new account.

    scratch what I said about making a new account as your only option. As I have found out that if you call in they agent can Escalate this issue to be fixed. So if you get an agent who tells you other wise refer them to this Forum and talk to their supervisor
    about escalating the issue as that's the ONLY way it will be resolved.
