Xbox Live Signup is currently unavailable. Please try again later.

I turned my xbox on and was told my parental account was invalid, so I went to re-enter the email and password, accepted the terms and then was told that signup is currently unavailable. Please help! I also get an error when I try to view my account and
profile on xbox.com. I have seen other threads on this topic, some recent, some dating back to 2007, please fix this issue.

I have been on the phone with support all morning and they couldn't do anything to help me. So far over 1 week of no xbox, which I am currently paying for. They escalated it, but I am now waiting for a response via email...

 

Ok, can you try and login at http://account.live.com to see of that is possible and if so please check of all info is correct etc.

Also try and do the same for
http://billing.microsoft.com

 

Able to login to both and info is correct.

 

Tried to create new account for "parent" and still getting same error when I enter info: "Xbox Live Signup is currently unavailable. Please try again later." Ran through most troubleshooting steps on the phone with two different xbox support specialists,
still nothing.

 

Wow, I have to say that I'm out of options to try, was your issue escalated by Phone Support?

 

Yes, they said I should be contacted by email within two business days.

 

Ok, let's hope they will be able to sort it, since they are likely the only ones capable to fix the issue.
