Xbox live signing me out

It has been 19 hours of trying to play Defiance on Xbox 360 without any luck. I turn on the console, click on recent games from the Xbox Dashboard, select Defiance and before the Trion start completes, the screen says I have signed out of Live (which I
haven't). I tried a different game which requires a connection to the internet and the same thing happened. I looked at the status page on the internet and did not see anything that related to my problem. I tried trouble shooting the connection and it said
that everything was fine. I am not the most computer savvy but I cannot understand how you can turn off the console, go to sleep, get up and turn it on and have a problem when you did not touch anything.

I have also been surprised that today instead of automatically signing me in and displaying the dashboard page, it asks me to pick between three user ids to sign in (the player 1 and the other I set up to play individual games on disk in addition to my regular
Live account). Trying to contact support thru chat was equally as frustrating. I was asked to verify who I was and then had to ask a second time for the e-mail to be sent to me since the first one didn't show up. I clicked on the link as instructed and
then had to fill out a capture to verify that I was real. It then took me to a page that went nowhere. So you can imagine how the frustration with Microsoft is starting to build. If this was a free service I would put up with it but since I am paying for
a service and not receiving it, the least MS could do would be to have an easier way to get help when you are having a problem. Instead of a source of enjoyment, I am thinking that Live is just another revenue stream on their corporate ledger and they are
trying to get by as cheaply as they can. Right now I am open to anyone giving me some help any way you can. Thanks.

hi! im new to the forum so i hope that i don't post this in the wrong section, but please can anyone help me with this. when i play games my xbox live keeps signing out. it does it completly randomly and in the middle of games. i have also had mor problems
wit xbox live , like it wont connect to games, my ping is bad while at other games its good. there is nothing wrong with my internet connection either since im on my computer with the same connection, and the internet there works fine. so, can anyone please
help me.?

 

Finally found a way to get through to chat. Problem solved. Sorry for the rant. Frustration just got too high.

 

What was done? I am having the same problem.

 

How did you solve it? I've been having the same issues for three weeks now and chat has been less than helpful.
