Xbox Live Sharing on Two Seperate Consoles

I have two Xbox consoles in my home. A Xbox One S, and a Xbox One. I am already paying for a Xbox Live membership. Is it possible to share this Xbox live membership on both consoles under Family sharing? I’ve read online that there is a way for this to
be done but I was told by Microsoft via Support/Chat that it was not possible to do this. Please help. Thank you in advance.

    :)

Is it possible to use multiple consoles via an Xbox Live Family Account?

I have two consoles. I currently have 2 seperate accounts for myself and another family memeber. One on each console. Is it possible to manage settings, activities, etc on two different consoles via one Xbox Live Family account?

I wouldn't do it, theres been many people banned for Marketplace Theft/accessing Xbox LIVE marketplace download content through illegitimate means.

While the content could be legitimate, creating two copies for seperate accounts on seperate consoles can result in a break of the ToU/CoC.

You can only share gold on one console at a time. The account with gold would set one console as their Home console. Any other profiles would be able to sign into that console and use the gold. The account with gold would be able to sign in and use their
    gold on the other console.

If you're using multiple accounts on both consoles, you'd need at least 1 more subscription.

I am having the same problem (family members cannot use Live membership on both consoles). I spoke with a service representative who informed me that in order to share the Xbox Live membership one console has to be set as Home Xbox. Both consoles cannot
be set to Home and if you switch too often it will suspend the account.

This is completely unacceptable. This is punitive to loyal Xbox customers. I have owned every version of the console. Now that I have added another console to our household for my son having to add another Xbox Live Gold subscription is ridiculous.

Microsoft needs to address this or I will be moving to PlayStation for my future purchases.

Hate to break it to you but Playstations activation system works the exact same way.

You can only have 1 playstation 4 console activated under your account on PSN so you would run into the same exact problem over there.

No console or service will do what you ask

You will simply have e to provide your own live membership per console.

    This prevents piracy

You can only have one home console that's it

With all consoles regardless of companies

    It's not rocket science
