Xbox Live sharing advice

I'd like some advice please. I own a xbox one with a gold live account. I'm looking to purchase a second xbox for my son this Christmas, so that we can play online games together.

1) Can we use the same games on both consoles (without breaking copyright laws)

2) Is it possible to have one gold account for use on both consoles & if so how?

FYI both consoles will reside in the same household.

You can indeed use the same game on both consoles. If you're using a disc, you'll only be able to play it on one Xbox One at a time. If you set your son's Xbox One as your home console, him and all other users on that Xbox One will have access to your digital
content and Xbox Live. For more info on that, check out this page for Home Gold

I would not advice using the previous owners account or the games assosiated With that account... as this would as I understand it be regarded as account sharing and/or Marketplace Theft which is against the Xbox live Terms of Use and Code of Conduct and
you risk a Console ban and/or having Your Xbox live account banned!

Same problem here. Cannot share anything. I can select the option and it will tell me it got shared, but nothing shows up in my feed. Lots of others from my friends list have mentioned this on Xbox Live as well. The usual advice "hard reset/cache clearing"
doesn't change anything.

Xbox trends seems to be working again though.
