    Xbox Live Service (West and central parts of Canada and US)


    so i woke up at 4 am this mourning and went to turn on my 360 and i was unable to connect to xbox live only i have my 360 connected to my network and my network is connected to the internet (telus 25 unlimited) I did i xbox live connection test and
    xbox live failed and live status reports a service alert, so i have worked in customer service and last i checked 5 hours wait time for service you have already paid for demands reimbursement, A couple free games on top of the free with gold games would be
    a start, I personally feel that 10 dollars credit to everyone who has been affected for every hour since the problem started is what needs to be done. (5 hours no live service = 50 credits to xbox live accounts)

    I'd just throw out that here in Manitoba Canada I'm located almost dead center between the east and west coasts and I'm having issues, so this problem isn't limited to people on the "Eastern US Coast."

    Maybe you should read the ToU you agreed to when you started your account.

    Microsoft are under no obligation to give you compensation if theres a disruption with xbox live.

    Which Canadian cable/satellite providers will be supported by the XBOX One guide?

    There's not many satellite/cable or fibe providers in Canada I know in the West its Shaw and telus and in the central east area in Toronto its Bell and Rogers so its probably in Xbox best interest to work with all these companies so that they can gain maximum

    you have 2 servers close to you then

    • North America
      • North-central US - Chicago, IL
      • South-central US - San Antonio, TX
      • West US - California
      • East US - Virginia
    The East US and North Central US that is unacceptable. I think somebody needs to contact MS and IW and find out WTF is up with that. I've had no issues whatsoever and i'm close to 2 as well (i live in san diego, CA) so i have the west and south central ones
    and never seen an issue. I'm glad you got a video, now its time to find out WTF. can you upload it to youtube and maybe start on the IW site?
