Xbox Live Service Issues

Me and multiple of my friends can't connect to Xbox Live. We all have perfectly functioning internet. There is nothing wrong with our ISP, and we do not need to contact them. We need Xbox Live to actually work. I pay $60 a year to be able to play online
and if this is going to keep happening, I want my money back.

Well it finally **** works. Although the entire time it didn't work, xbox.com was wrong and continued saying everything was working fine. Smfh.

It says in the page that they believe they've identified the issue and are working to resolve the problem. Since typically these are very complex systems there's usually not any specific ETA that can be provided. What kind of information are you looking
for?

rather than restarting your router you may need to hard reset it. turn it off and unplug it from the power, leave it 5-10 minutes then plug it back in. everything is pointing to internet problem from what i`m reading from my internet searches.

Please don't create multiple threads about the same issue as the moderator(s) will likely lock the extra thread(s).

Are you using WiFi or wired connection?
What DNS settings are you using?
Have you tried rebooting your router (sometimes they have problems when internet disconnects and need a reboot to fix it)?
Do you have an external hard drive connected to your console? If so, try disconnecting it, reboot and see if you can get your console to login to XBL without that error code.
