XBox Live service down?

For some reason, the Xbox Service is down, even though my modem/router is working (obviously since my laptop's wifi is working) and I'm already signed in using my GT.

same here, won't even let me sign in.

Been trying all morning, but no information on what, why or when anywhere I can find. Come on Microsoft, buck up!!

Hey there,

Please can you tell me what region your in please?

I am in the UK, North Yorkshire, and I can sign into Xbox Live just fine, and send messages/connect to online multiplayer.

Generally when there is an outage, you do get an error message. Did you get an error message or code?

can't sign in plus can't play offline ugh dub xp weekend for call of duty goodbye buck XBOX can't fix their stuff,tried calling thats over an hr wait,tried tweeting no response,wtf error code 0x87DD0006, Im glad Im not the only one but at same time sorry
for all of us experiencing this crap issue for such an expensive piece of equipment

same in Pittsburgh lost it around 5:30... was connected, tried to play another game and everything is out now
