    Xbox Live Service cancelled. Tried to repurchase, also cancelled.


    I let my friend borrow my Xbox over the holidays. Through email, I receive notice of XBL cancellation.

    On top of this, my Xbox won't start up. I will try to eject what disk may be inside, and send it to MS vis FedEx.

    oh man it's not that bad. The last time I changed or cancelled my Internet and Phone service I had to call customer service. Xbox is no different. And Netflix, Apple & Amazon are completely different lines of business from xbox live. A while ago xbox
    had the option to cancel AR on the web site, but so many users screwed up the cancellation (thinking they cancelled but didn't) that it created more problems than if a customer support agent cancelled it and gave them a confirmation number.

    No. If it says your Live is cancelled, the only way to reactive it would be to repurchase it. If it looks like it was cancelled on accident, you would need to contact support and speak to billing. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    all cancelations are recorded on your service request number (notes on the case)



    you MUST complete the call for an account to be canceled also PENDING balances are not refunded and can prevent cancelations and the call MUST be made before the renewal period not after



    as stated before the only sure way to cancel an account with 90% of services is call support for your service

    doing it via a 3rd party site like ebay for paypal does not cancel it due to the terms of use of xbox live

    I know it didnt get canceled because it says it was gonna expire yesterday and it did , and i also know it expired the time i enabled the live service when i bought the xbox live gold so it shouldnt have been canceled

    Remember if you cancel Game Pass Ultimate you cancel Xbox Live Gold too. Go under Services and Subscriptions to cancel your recurring subscriptions.
