Xbox live service alert World of Tanks gamepla

When trying to play World of Tanks on Xbox 360, during a required update it suddenly stops ans says service alert and sends me back to the dashboard. If i do a network check, it says service alert next to xbox live connection, although i do log into xbox
live without problem and i can play other on line games. Has anyone else had this and how can i sort it out? I contacted microsoft support which took a lifetime, they couldnt identify any fault at all. When you do a network check it signs all people out anyway
so im thinking its not my gamer tag nor can it be the connection as i can play others. I deleted gamer tag to check and re downloaded and was the same again. Any ideas?

Hi. When i get the service alert it is: 4476-0000-D080-0200-8007-0570. It appears as it tries to update World of Tanks as it starts. I wondered if there was a problem with the world of tanks server? But when looged out and test connection on dashboard
it gives the service alert then as well, just no numbers, it says go to xbox.com for help. Cheers garry.

You may want to clear the cache as suggested. Power cycle the console and make sure you just refresh everything entirely. You can still play all other games so it sounds like it could just be corrupted update or something like that

Just to let you know that there is a XBOX LIVE service alert at the moment for CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS II. You may find more information here.

Also, you can be alerted when the service is back up by providing your cell number on that page as well, you can be text or called. Now as for World of Tanks I have no further information pertaining to it.
