XBOX LIVE SERVERS ARE OFFLINE!!!!!!!

halo 2 from the original xbox can no longer be updated as the original xbox live servers went offline a very long time ago, playing it on the 360 will not connect to servers either but you can still play it offline. The only way to play halo 2 with all
its dlc is on xbox one or pc via the masterchief collection.

Microsoft is busy working on the servers, don't know what's wrong but its been awhile now and every game that requires online or is online doesn't work and because Minecraft can be played offline but connects with the servers first it cause the game to lag
or in my case my Xbox froze several time. If you want to get it to work for now while the servers is a mess, disconnect your Xbox completely from the network and go in to Minecraft, they will tell you there is no connection and ask if you want to reconnect
with Xbox live or play offline, just say play offline and play that way untill servers is back online

any game achievements you earn offline will have to be re earned as the live servers have no record of them that you earn when offline.

If you're playing offline, then no. They won't update when you log into your console again. If you're signed into Live, then yes they will. Achievements are saved on the Xbox servers as long as you're signed into Live.

Jamie, you have unfortunately lost all the achievements you earned offline. Downloading your profile gets your profile from the last time it was synched with the Xbox Live servers (ie the last time you connected to Live). While you were playing offline all
this time, it never synched with the servers. Sorry...
