Xbox Live Server

Hi, it’s been 2 weeks and i still can’t play multiplayer games online because the xbox live server was shut down for everyone. I wanna know how long do i have to wait.

Is Microsoft Cloud/Azure a paid service for developers or FREE ?

Well enterprises usually pay for it, I guess we pay for it via Xbox Live sub, but I heard they are not using the Azure servers for Xbox Live gaming, instead Azure will be used for something less evasive and other servers will be used for game traffic.

 

DayZ (Currently In Preview)

They are adding private servers to Xbox version soon allegedly. You could always pick a low population server and you can always server hop.

Game goes live at 6pm this evening btw.

Sorry to hear you are running into these problems. The Xbox live server should not be shut down for anybody. We have had some service interruptions here in the past few weeks so maybe that could have affected your service. But let's go ahead and take a look
at this issue, Is there any error messages or codes that you receive when attempting to access your Xbox Live services?

Just to let you know, the servers are just fine and I played online even last night. Did you check your Gold subscription validity period?

 

Yes, i’m still subscribed but it keep saying “try that again”.

 

I tried but i still can’t play any online multiplayer games like Halo, Call of Duty or NBA.

Thank you for reaching out. If you are still experiencing connection issues, please run a network test by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Network.
5. Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.
   
6. On the right side of the Network settings screen, select
   Test network connection.

Once this test is finished, I want you to do the following: Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC Address>Clear

This will restart your console, try playing one of your games online.

again. Sorry, but it didn’t work. I’m still an Xbox Live Gold Member, but i’ve heard that the entire server was down and that other users can’t go on their online multiplayer games like Halo, Fornite, RDR2, etc. And everytime i go to the Store to see any deals
on games, it shows i can’t get the game free and have to buy it. I even bought an Xbox Live Gold for one month, but it also didn’t work and said, “Something happend to our end. Try again later.” I am really upset that i can’t play any of my games and i had
this Xbox One almost five years with no problems.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with connecting to the Xbox Live Server.

Currently, there is no service alert that is affecting gaming. Check out the website to stay up to date with the Service Alerts.

If the issue persists, try testing the
Network settings on Xbox One.

Hello again. I sorry but none of that stuff didn’t work at all. Like i said, other Live Gold members have this problem and still can’t play any games online.

What region are you in? There is a service alert today for purchase and content usage, but it shouldn't be an issue with connecting. If you are trying to redeem a code that will be affected as the error says redeem.microsoft.com You can check the

Service alert and then try again after it is over. For the past few weeks there have been different service alerts.
