xbox live server disconnected every 30 minutes

Whenever I played Sea of thieves, every hour there was a problem with the Xbox live servers.

I flew out of the lobby and my friends did not. when I wanted to join again, it was there: the crew did not join the crew crew not available (Beatnikbeard)

But my friends are still playing ....

and I have to wait 10 minutes until I can join the session again

xbox one disconnecting from xbox live

Recently my xbox one has been disconnection from xbox live every 30 minutes to an hour. I have two xbox ones in my house and one of them does not get disconnecitng, only my xbox gets disconnected. My NAT type is open and my wifi is fine. I reset my xbox
and turned on/off my router. Why is my xbox one getting disconnected from xbox live every 30 minutes?

Maybe, it's because your using a wireless connection, try using a wired connection to see if this improves your services.

 

I have the same issue every session I play, getting disconnected after 20-40 minutes.

 

have same problem. other games work fine, but sea of thieves always disconnected only from xbox live after 15-30 minutes.

 

Got the same problem. I noticed it only on SoT. Frustrating as I lost 20k Gold already :-( Playing over Wifi (all other games, incl. PC games, work great with no issues).

 

I finally found a workaround. I am using Wifi for all connections. A couple of days ago, I restarted my Xbox One (1 TB model, roughly 18 months old) and didn't havethe issue. Since I was using the always on power setting, I disabled it (means: my Xbox is
doing a full shutdown when I say "Turn off"). Since then, I have not encountered a single disconnect from Xbox Live / SoT. I suspect the Wifi driver or the network stack of the Xbox being buggy when it comes to power saving or reactivation from standby. Hope
