Xbox live says I’m online playing a game I do not own.

first things first we suggest clearing out the consoles caches since when they get full might cause this type of errors.

How to clear Game Cache on the Xbox One:

System

Storage

Clear Local Saved Games

Yes and Restart




To clear the Network Card Cache (alternate MAC address)

Settings

Network

Network Settings

Advanced settings

Alternate MAC Address

Clear and restart

IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNETno
progress or purchase data will be lost, what we accomplish by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption as a byproduct.

i’m having the same issue, and my xbox is telling me that i need to be online to play gta 5 but i bought the game with my own money months ago after it somehow removed itself from my account and the xbox i’m playing on is flagged as my home xbox.

how can I play sea thieves that I bought with my own money and when I launch it, It says to buy Xbox Live Gold but how are the people able to play it and pay their own money just to pay more and not everyone can afford to pay every month and year and it's wong to pay extra when the whole online that's why Xbox live gold is scummy no one needs to pay extra money on an online base multplay game but how do I know if say this because it must be well paying job Microsoft is.
