    Xbox Live says I need to be older to upload custom profile images, even though I'm over 18.


    It does this on both the Windows 10 App, and my Xbox One.

    Can't have custom gamerpic even though I'm old enough

    Everytime I try to upload a custom image for my gamerpic it says im not old enough even though I'm well beyond 18 an have a adult account with no restrictions. I'm tired of this, I've paid an invested into Xbox since the original Xbox an this has not happened
    to me until now randomly PLEASE FIX IT!

    How do you change your Xbox One custom profile picture because everytime I try, it says "For custom images, you need to be older." even though the account I am using is an adult account. Please, help!

    I have it set to September 1st, 1983 which is correct.

    How do you get custom gamerpic?

    Using the Xbox app. You go to customize profile and then click on the pic icon. Then it will show an option to upload photos off your phone. You need to be over 18 to use the feature in most countries though as Arminator mentioned.

    I'm having the same problem. I contacted xbox live support and they even confirmed that i had an adult account and that i was listed as 18 but im still getting the error message "people under 18 can't upload custom gamerpics". I just want to be able to upload
    custom gamerpics and I'm the right age to do so, yet I can't.

    If you changed the birthdate on your account via Microsoft.xbox.com that does not carry over to your Xbox account. The birthdate on your Xbox account is permanent unfortunately.
