Xbox live saying no account for son

My son suddenly can't access any xbox live services on his profile. I'm on his xbox one as the adult and it works fine on my profile. No changes have been made to the account yet it's saying he doesn't have one anymore. The subscription doesn't expire until
July. All network tests etc are fine

Is Split Screen and Multi-Player across different consoles possible?

Yes! Your scenario above is exactly what they hope for, but it would all be using Xbox 360 consoles (I'm not sure if that makes a difference). Each console does have a separate copy of the game.

I think each person does have an Xbox live account. I'm really unclear how Xbox live works even though I know I'm paying for it for my Son. Is the Xbox Live account attached to a specific account or is it attached to a specific console?

 

I think you should phone Xbox support, there might be a problem with it and a support rep could help you with it

 

Here is a few things to try out and see if it helps.

1. Go to "Settings > Account > Family" Click on his gamer tag and make sure he is added to your xbox / family.

2. If the first thing didn't work try to delete his account off the xbox under "Settings > Account > Remove Accounts" Then add him back onto the xbox.

3. I know you said you haven't changed anything but just to be safe check these few things.

- Go to "Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety" Make sure "Adult" is selected if you won't him to be able to do anything.

- Go to "Settings > Account > Content restrictions" make sure unrestricted is selected to let him communicate / play any games online.

Now if none of that works it could the only thing I could thing of would be is date of birth listed on his account. If it is under a certain age xbox forces some restrictions on the account. But as you said he was fine before so I don't think it would be
that. The last thing to do would be to contact Xbox Official support at this point.

Thank you, removed his account then put it back on. He lost some game data but is now back on live
