Xbox live saved games corrupted?!

While playing Final fantasy XV for windows (20 Hours in) I was hit with a blue screen. Now despite uninstalling and reinstalling I'm unable to see or load any saved games. On top of that, when starting again which I've tried 3 times now, after saving It
won't keep them. So as soon as I exit the game and reload it there are no saved games for me to load.

Its really saddening as this was my UK lock down outlet and the progress is gone. I tried looking for offline saves to back up but there was nothing.

Can you reset my saved games folder or something or find a fix. I really don't want to start again, and if I can't even continue from a save then there's no point in trying.

Please help

Hi,

Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do about the corrupted save. I would back up my saves to cloud.

Click here to find out how. If it happens again you will be ok. This game is known for corrupting save files.

It happens at times its part of the tech life. Happens to the best of us sometimes. Nothing you did wrong. Things just happen sometimes

Ha! Are you playing the sims?

Installed it on the Xbox and used that to delete my saves from everywhere. Had to start all over but whatever, it happens I guess.

Least there's away to save new progress.

Hello, sorry this has happened to you. When a game file is corrupt its nothing you can do about it. Somewhere the save file was messed up. All you can do is start playing again!!

Sure, not a problem.

Yes if the save data is indeed corrupt, which it sounds like is the case, by deleting the data your campaign progress will be deleted.

However, the unlocks for online multiplayer that you got from completing the campaign will still be there.

Here is how to delete corrupted save data from the xbox console.

To determine if the saved game is corrupted, follow these steps:
Select Settings > System > Storage.
Select the storage location, and then press the A  button.
Select Games and Apps, and then press the A  button.
Select the game, and then press the A  button.
Select the saved game, and then press the A  button.
Note A corrupted saved game file is marked with a yellow exclamation point.
If the saved game file is corrupted, delete the corrupted file. To do this, select Delete.
