Xbox live ripped me off

I cannot use my free two day trial for Xbox live..keeps saying l already have a gold membership! Grrrr how do l activate the code l got with my game? ( Star Wars battlefront) to use my so called two day free trial?? Please help!

If the game was purchased using the account you are posting with then it is possible that it was downloading when you logged on to the console. If the download hasn't completed then press the Guide button and scroll left and choose Active Downloads.

If the game is currently downloading or Pending then go to Settings>Accounts>Download History to start the download on your console.

 

Ripped me off!!!!!!!

I redeemed a prepaid download code for assassins creed liberation on my pc and it said next time you log into this microsoft account you will have it. I logged on with my xbox and then went to my games to play AC:Liberation and it wasnt there!!!!!! How do
i fix it????

 

Are you playing on a shared console that someone else (Home account) has a Gold membership? If so then that could be the reason you cannot use the membership as you are sharing the other person's membership.

 

I renewed my xbox live yesterday. Says I still need to renew it. I can check my subscriptions and it says that it has been renewed, but my console won't accept it for some reason.

 

Try logging out of your profile and logging back in. Good Luck!

 

Don't worry about that error message. If your membership has been renewed (you can check by logging in to commerce.microsoft.com and click on Services & Subscriptions) then the message you're receiving is simply a glitch.

I had the same issue when I renewed. Once the actual renewal date rolls around the message will disappear.
