Xbox Live rewards

Hi there

So I have had my gamertag for over 10 years and signed up to Xbox rewards as soon as it was started. Yet on checking my account it shows I have never got anything.

I signed up to live for 13 months yesterday and did a survey to see what it did and nothing. So why is this?

I have Xbox Live Rewards too but I think the $15 Rewards credit is only good if you buy the physical copy through MicrosoftStore.com...?
