Xbox live rewards VIP rank not synced

My xbox account has 7000 ish gamer points which is enough for the 2nd rank. When i go to check my rank it says i only have rank 1 which is 0-2999 gamer points?

Microsoft Rewards Level 2 not appearing.

Xbox live Rewards just changed to Microsoft rewards in Canada a few days ago and it says in the FAQ "Previous Xbox live rewards members with a My VIP Star Rank will automatically be upgraded to Level 2 until December 31st 2018". I had a 1 star My VIP Rank
but I'm still only a level one. Nothing on the Microsoft Rewards website mentions this promotion at all and it's only on the FAQ on xbox.ca talking about the transition. Is anyone having a similar issue or know if I need to do anything in order to make the
level 2 rank appear?

VIP rank reset

hi I've recently gone on to my Xbox live rewards and my VIP star rank was 4 but now its on 1 can you help me with this please

Achievement lelevls only update once a month, at the beginning of the month. So if you got to 3,000 gamerscore after April 1, you won't see it update until May. Keep in mind that this is not the same as your VIP level. VIP is based on star levels and is
based on how much you spend each year on the marketplace.

As Smwutches says, only the MyAchievements ranks are based on Gamerscore. Your MyVIP level which determines payback on your eligible purchases is based on your total eligible purchases since the beginning of the year. The MyAchievements rank can take some
time to update since those calculations are only made on a monthly basis.

You need to spend $1200 before the next reset to reach level 4.

Yes, if you don't spend that amount (or the amount needed for level 3), you can drop to a lower level.

I can confirm Smwutches response. If you spend $1200 this year, you will be promoted up a rank. However, if you spend less than $900 this year, you will go down a rank, based on current MyVIP requirements. For example, if you only spend $700 this year, if
MyVIP star requirements remain the same next year, you will be placed at the two star level after the yearly recalibration. We'll let our web team know that an example may be helpful in that FAQ entry. Thanks for the feedback!
