Xbox Live Rewards Updated

So I'm sure many of you noticed, no Survey last month. No option to request credits either. Fret less, because they've unleashed the newest version of the program.

Surveys are still there. Refer a friend is still there. My Achievement rebate is still there. No bonus anymore for re-upping gold. (booooo)

However!

They tweaked in a couple of new and frankly exciting bonuses!

You know that Games w/ Gold game you have no intention of playing? (I'm lookin' at you Monaco) Put up with it for 10 hours, get 1000 points (1$)as a bonus. Buy DLC for it, that's another 2000 points (2$). A little cheap, but a nice boost if you end up snagging
that DLC before it goes on sale or the freebie changes. That's 3$~4$ for the 360 + X1 kids, without buying DLC.

You know that VIP status you may or may not have? Spend a certain amount of money, get from 1% to 10% back (in rewards points):

In case you were wondering about the tiers. If I read it right, it's a yearly count, so there's still time to bump up to the next tier.

IF for some reason, you've been on XBox Live for more than a month and still haven't signed up for this, FOR THE LOVE OF CHEAP, DO SO!!

My xbox live rewards are not updated as I have done everything for the western challenge but it says 0 rewards earned

I noticed my xbox live rewards hasn't updated, made a few purchases, and not received any credit back or anything.

This explains what's been going wrong with the Rewards site lately. I guess the Xbox elves were knocking toys together behind the scenes, and things appeared broken while they were doing it. Heh.

I like the new look too, especially the section that shows your past 30 days of activity. =)

 

I think the only thing i have ever got from rewards is the points for the survey`s.

It works out at about 12p per month, but then expires before you can make enough to even find something to spend it on.

I certainly am never going to spend $1200 to get 10% back.

 

Weird I am only on tier 2 and have bought oh I dunno about 16-18 games this year off of the marketplace.

@Aakame- they had some kind of formula for figuring out what you'd start at. It's based on your 2012 & 2013 purchases. I haven't spent 150.00 this year yet, but that's about what I average.

 

Who spends $1.200 on games?

 

Why do they make the survey so hard to find?, its worth 12p a month i can`t miss it !

 

I should be in the 5th tier, but I'm only in the fourth. I've spent well over $1,200 this year.
