Xbox Live Rewards Refund

Hi,

I can't find the answer for my question online, so here it is:

I recently purchased a couple of games, and wondered when I would get my Xbox Live Rewards refund. I noticed somewhere that it said every 15th and 30th of each month, however, I haven't received anything.

Then, I read somewhere else that to get a refund you needed to get 5,000 points? How do I get points? By purchasing stuff? and if so, I haven't get points for my recent purchases.

i saw today that i had 219,08 norwegian kr (im norwegian btw) on my microsoft balance. is it about the xbox live reward program? because im not sure how it got there. will it expire if i dont use it within a certain time? i also see that there's been 2 xbox
live reward deposit refunds. whats that about? how long will the xbox live reward program last btw?

 

In order to receive credits for purchases, they either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates. If you are eligible for VIP rebates, those are calculated after the
end of the month and given by the 15th of the next month (there is currently a delay with April's rebate). Once credits are pending, they remain pending until you have at least 5,000 pending and then they are automatically deposited into your account for use
by the following 15th or 30th of the month. Or if you have at least 1,000 credits pending (but less than 5,000) you can request a deposit and they will be deposited on the date listed on the site at the time that you make the request.

The MyVIP payback for your purchases is awarded as a monthly whole by the 15th of the following month. From our FAQ:

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit
terms. Be sure to keep an eye on MyStatement on the
MyRewards page to track your progress and watch your Rewards Credits total grow!

However, there is currently a delay with the MyVIP payback for April due to an issue affecting our members who are also preview program members. Once this issue is resolved, you will see your payback pending on your MyRewards page. Apologies for the inconvenience
caused by this delay.

Once you reach 5,000 pending Credits, you are automatically scheduled for a deposit, but you can request one manually once you have at least 1,000 pending Credits. You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

Again, since we have not yet calculated MyVIP for April, those purchases have not shown up as pending yet. Your purchases in March went towards the Simply Rewarding offer, so you received Credits for those purchases that way. You cannot earn Credits for
both an offer and MyVIP payback.
