    Xbox Live Rewards Refer A Friend


    I want to do refer a friend with a great buddy of mine. There are only 3 people showing up that are eligible. What are the eligibility requirements? The 3 players who are showing are inactive accounts. It leaves me not being able
    to participate in the program. Please assist in any way possible!?

    Xbox Live Rewards Refer A Friend

    There could be several different reasons why an account doesn't show up. If they're not a rewards member or have already been referred previously they won't show up. Or if they just started their account it may be too soon for them to show up.

    There are multiple reasons a friend may not be eligible for the Refer-a-Friend Reward. Your friend may already be an Xbox Live Gold member, or have recently acted on a referral and upgraded to Gold. Also, the Refer-a-Friend Reward may not be available in
    your friend's region. Please see the Terms and Conditions for full details. Also, keep in mind that it takes us up to 96 hours to receive and process new information, so if you only recently added
    your friend we may not have received that data yet.

    Yes, since you were referred on the 19th, and did not register until the 21st, it would not have been possible to Reward you for that referral since there was no Rewards Account to award the referral to, as specified in the FAQ:

    —Is there anything I should know about referring my friends?There are several eligibility requirements you must meet in order to earn Rewards for referring your friends, or for being referred by one of your friends.

    • To refer friends, you have to be an Xbox Live Rewards member and have Xbox Live friends who meet the eligibility requirements.
    • If you've been referred by your Xbox Live friend, you'll only receive your Reward if you successfully complete the offer by completing the required action within the set time period. You must also meet other eligibility requirements, like being older than
      13 years of age and living in an eligible region.

    Since you were referred on the 19th, you completed this offer and your friend was assigned their token for 1000 rubies. However, since you were not a Rewards member, you did not get a token. Only Rewards members can receive Rewards.

    So, there is absolutely no form of compensation you can do? Even though I did join the Rewards program within those 48 hours.

    Hello GODDESS BAST,

    There is no offer to simply refer someone to join Xbox Live Rewards. If you are talking about the "Refer Friends, Earn Rewards" offer at the bottom of the MyMissions page, that offer is to refer a friend to Gold. Since your friends are already Gold members,
    that offer cannot be sent to them.
