Xbox live rewards purchase

I was unaware that I wasn’t a MYVIP/rewards member and made a multiple purchases in January totaling over 200$. Since finding out I wasn’t a member, I just signed up. Is it possible to retroactively add the rewards I would’ve received from that purchase?

Unfortunately no. The rewards program does not award for anything done before joining.

There is currently not any Xbox Live Reward offers that Reward a console purchase.

The Xbox Live Reward program only rewards users for making purchases, and when they make purchases it takes at least 1 cycle to receive rewards. If your friend only joined yesterday he was not rewarded from the Xbox Live Program. He could have received it
from the Microsoft/Bing Reward program (separate) or from Sales/Promotions (separate).

Yes, they have to be completed after signing up for Xbox LIVE Rewards and actually having a profile on the rewards program side. I believe what you were asking about was the 1st time marketplace purchase. That's specifically for an account that has never
ever purchased anything on Xbox LIVE and then joins the Xbox LIVE Rewards program and then makes their 1st ever purchase. They get those 100 points.

They may have been talking about the Microsoft Rewards program (which is a different program than Xbox Live Rewards), but as Smwutches says, there is currently no Xbox Live Rewards offer for hardware purchases, and we are unable to track purchases made from
physical retail locations.

Hi DDXDB. Xbox Live Rewards does not have a VIP Diamond level for members. We checked your purchases for MyVIP Star level and you currently do not have any qualifying purchases made in your Xbox Live Rewards region. We do see purchases made in a different
region, but that does not get calculated since it is outside of your Rewards region. To get progress, you'll need to either change your Rewards region, or make purchases in your Rewards region.
