XBOX LIVE Rewards not tied to account

I have been purchasing digital titles for over 3 years now and have not received any of my rewards points for any of the games. I spoke with Xbox customer support and they directed me here. Apparently what needs to be done is for the rewards points for my
past purchases be retroactively added to my account, thank you for your time.

No not at all. Although I don't think the beta rewards are tied to your HDD save. They are probably tied to your windows live account which stays the same if you change your gt.

Nothing to worry about.

Forza hub / motorsport 7

Hi, you would receive a message in your Forza 7 in game messages for sure to redeem the reward. Are both games tied to the same Xbox account though ? If for instance you have Forza 7 tied to another Xbox account then you wouldn't receive the rewards unless
you're using the same account the game is registered on the Forza rewards website with.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

Technically, the new subscription would be inactive but tied to your account (You can stack up to 36 months of LIVE) and would immediately go into effect once the current subscription expires. I know this because this is how Xbox LIVE Rewards handles the
renewal rewards.

Id like to see more ways to earn points with xbox rewards

Would be cool if they tied the reward points in with being active on Xbox's social media accounts too
