Xbox live rewards not registering

hi there, I have been an Xbox live rewards member since 2014 however I have not earned any credits since 2015 and I’m wondering why this is?

I get a statement every month telling me iv earned nothing despite the fact I buy games, avatar items and renew my gold through you every month.

I had a look at my account yesterday and can see in my statements that the rewards just stop. I unlocked some gems yesterday which I knew nothing about so have them but still should have earned a ton of credit by now as iv brought a load of games in the
past couple years and have not received a thing for anything I do.

Is something wrong with my rewards account?

You can view everything I have purchased from gears of war 4 to destiny 2! And not received a single thing. Not even for renewing gold. And seeing as this makes it nearly 3 years.. that’s a lot of rewards iv missed out on.

What can be done?

Can't Register

Hello Cory Prime,

Since the Xbox Live Rewards program is ending in your region, you cannot currently register into Xbox Live Rewards. You will have to wait for the Microsoft Rewards program to being in your region before registering into that program.

 

Xbox Live Rewards not showing my Gold status?

I am participating in Xbox Live Rewards, and decided to upgrade to a Gold membership in order to take advantage of some of the Gold-exclusive rewards. After doing so last night, the Xbox Live Rewards website is still showing my account as having not yet
upgraded to Gold.

Seeing as how I am displayed as a Gold member on the main Xbox website (i.e. here), and am able to use online multiplayer, it is obvious to me that I have successfully upgraded to Gold; so why is the Xbox Live Rewards site not registering as such?

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

As of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as mentioned in our pinned announcement at the top of the forums titled "HEY
YOU! We've got your answer here." (https://forums.xbox.com/en-US/thread/2f5ffacb-bf1e-4fca-8764-f57f69556e55), we no longer award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals
as of July 2014.

MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015
and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017). Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).
