Xbox Live Rewards not functioning for 3 years

Hi there

I have been a member Xbox Live Rewards since pretty much its beginnings, and as far as I can tell the last time I got some points was in 2014!

I've never not had a gold subscription and I have bought multiple games movies etc off of the Xbox Store via digital download.

There seems to be something completely wrong with the way my account is set up in terms of the Rewards system.

Any help?

MyVIP issue

Hello!

It seems as if the rewards program isn't functioning properly. I've spent a lot of money in the store and haven't seen the my VIP status change. (if it's now working, it certainly isn't taking into account purchases retroactively.)

Any way to help with this?

Xbox live for > 10 years and been a rewards member since 2012... VIP rank beginner doesn't make sense!

Xbox Live in years on Account profile

Hi team Xbox,

My account profile on Xbox Live shows 3 for the number of years I'm a Xbox Live member. But I'm on Xbox for much longer, e.g. on my Xbox Live Reward - MyRewards page it shows 10 years of Xbox Live.

Why is my Xbox profile only showing a 3 in the circle?

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).
