Xbox Live Rewards not accruing.

I have been an Xbox Live Rewards member for a really long time, but I have not been that active over the past couple years. I started playing Xbox a lot more at the beginning of 2017. I recently logged into my Xbox rewards account to see how many points
I have and none of my activity is earning points. I have made many purchases in the Xbox store, earns many achievements, and renewed my Live membership, but nothing is earning points. The last thing that earned me points was in 2014. Can you look into my
account and see why this is? Thank you!

NOT RECEIVING XBOX LIVE REWARDS

I have not received any points / rewards for my Xbox live account for the last 12 months.

I am looking for help as to why my account suddenly stopped accrueing rewards. I have not changed my email address, not changed zones, and I have had an active Xbox Live Gold account since 2010.

I spoke to someon on the phone and they said that I did not have an XBox Live Gold Account for a couple of years but after they looked fruther they found that I have always had a Gold Account.

I've noticed that my xbox live rewards have started working for the first time in what feels like almost 2 years, meaning im finally accruing rewards points for purchasing content. since checking my account ive also noticed that I've been bumped down from
my 3 star VIP status back to 1 star, and i would love to know why. thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

 

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates. As of July
1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold. Achievements will only award credits if they are part of a specific offer.

 

Yes, I have taken a survey, and then there is a "first purchase" from the store. Neither have given me credit.

 

Keep in mind that for the first purchase offer, you have to make the purchase using currency from your Microsoft account balance. Credit card/PayPal purchases are not eligible for that offer.

For that offer and the survey, it should take about 96 hours for the credits to show as pending after completing them.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

The first purchase offer is for your first purchase made using your Microsoft Account as the payment method. Since you have not done so, you have not yet completed the offer. However, our program does take up to 96 hours to process and receive information,
so if you have just recently bought this purchase, we have not processed it yet. If you have just recently take a survey, that can also take up to 96 hours to be processed.
