    Xbox Live Rewards “Issue with your account”


    So, I have been looking for ways to fix my xbox live rewards problem. I want to cash in my points, but it says there is an issue. I have checked my billing info and it is all up to date with the newest payment information and address. What do I need to do
    to be able to fix this problem?

    Pre-Order Digital Versions?

    Can't order disc and ask for digital later. Sony doesn't even do that.

    If you preorder a disc you are getting a disc. You can sign up for xbox live rewards through xbox.com with your xbox live profile (you can create one before owning an xbox, and not have gold or anything either) and then setup your rewards profile.

    When you preorder digital games that offer 10$ credit to your account for preordering, just have to use the same email you used with your rewards account.

    Sounds complicated but it's not. You can get your games and get some rewards for the preorder, including the credit for more digital games / dlc.

    We see that due to an issue with your Microsoft Account having multiple payment accounts, our deposit process could not determine a proper Microsoft Payment Account, and was unable to complete a deposit. The Xbox Live Rewards program is only allowed to
    attempt transactions with Microsoft Payment Accounts, which means it cannot interact with other types of payment accounts like a PayPal or Credit Card. If Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account for some reason, as long as you have not opted
    out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted to Microsoft Rewards points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose
    from the Microsoft Rewards catalog.

    Hi CllutchSTi. Unfortunately, there is currently an issue which is preventing a deposit to your Microsoft account. Our deposit process cannot correctly determine the primary billable account to deposit into for your Microsoft Account, and thus aborts the
    process. This is an issue that we are working on resolving with another team, since we are not able to fully access the database containing billable account information. At the moment, we have not received an estimate on when this problem will be resolved.
    While their fix was able to let us make a deposit in February, they have not yet been able to provide us with a consistent solution to this error. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Xbox support cannot adjust a Xbox Live Rewards account. They awarded you a refund in our name, but that was not done through our Xbox Live Rewards program.

    Your deposit is being prevented due to a mismatch between your US Rewards Account region and your Russian Microsoft Account region. When you register into the Rewards program, we create a Rewards account based on your Microsoft Account region at the time
    of registration. Since your Rewards Account is a separate entity from your Microsoft Account, migrating your Microsoft Account region will not also change your Rewards Account region. Therefore, when your Rewards Account attempts a deposit in one regional
    currency, it cannot complete when your Microsoft Account is of a differing currency. However, this issue can be fixed by heading over to the Microsoft Commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com) to update
    your Microsoft account to match your Xbox Live Rewards location.

    Your region is not a valid Xbox Live Rewards region. Furthermore, we see no sweepstakes wins for your account.

    This forum is for Xbox Live Rewards issues. The Microsoft Rewards program is a separate program, so we are not fully informed on their issues. You should try contacting their support team via the Microsoft Rewards website.
