Xbox Live Rewards Deposit Question

I haven't had my xbox connected online in quite some time ( 2 years , and cruddy ISP) and finally decided to upgrade to an xbox one x. I logged online here to my xbox/microsoft account and noticed that I had a couple refunds posted to my account that appeared;

it was listed:

Order #:

Xbox Live Rewards Deposit ($X.XX)

I have 3 different reward deposits, but can't find anywhere the refund was actually deposited; tried customer service #/online but was directed here; So could anyone here help guide me into finding out where the refund(s) were deposited, since i can't find
it anywhere; wasn't sent to my credit card/bank; nor in my xbox/microsoft account.

Xbox Live Rewards ???

I got 5$ "Xbox Live Rewards Deposit" in my billing. Im not part of the program because i live in POLAND. When i check MyRewards i can see:

Rewards member since: ???

Your Region: ???
Xbox support sent me here to ask some questions so here i am

They would have been added to your Microsoft account balance. If they took place over a year ago, they would have expired which is probably why you would not be able to find them.

Ah, that bites; Didn't know I even had them, let alone they expired; thought it like a regular account balance thing not time restricted; would of been nice to get an extra game or 2. Thank you though for helping, would their be anyway to get funds recovered/replaced?;
or is it something I just missed out on and have to forget about?

All promotional credits expire 1 year after deposit. Unfortunately once they expire, there is no way to get them back.

Hello spadasan1,

You can see a complete history of your Credit and deposit events from the MyStatement on the MyRewards page. You can then use the dates listed for your deposits to see their deposit as currency from your commerce page at (Sign in to your Microsoft account),
where they will be listed as a refund with a negative amount.

While Rewards Credits in your Xbox Live Rewards account will not expire, once deposited as promotional currency into your Microsoft Account they are subject to the normal Microsoft policies. Since their policies state that promotional
currencies expire one year after being placed into a Microsoft Account, your deposits from 2014 have likely expired if you did not spend them in the one year period after receiving them.

Since we only deposit around the middle and end of the month, since you requested your deposit on the first this month, it will be a part of the mid-month deposit. Regarding the last deposit, from the transition FAQ:

What about my current Xbox Live Rewards Credits and MyVIP Gems balance?

If you have any pending Rewards Credits in your Xbox Live Rewards account on May 31, 2018, or if you are expecting your MyVIP deposit for purchases made in May 2018, Xbox Live Rewards will convert them into your local currency and deposit them in your
Microsoft account by the end of June 2018. You will then have 1 year to spend that currency on digital items from the Microsoft Store.

If Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account for some reason, as long as you have not opted out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted
to Microsoft Rewards points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalog. See the next question for when to expect your Rewards Credits and MyVIP Gems if you have opted-out of making the
transition to Microsoft Rewards.

For help with the Rewards program, you'll want to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions support forum. There was no deposit scheduled for the 14th. The first deposit for this month took place on the 12th. If you requested a deposit on or after the 9th, the
credits would be scheduled for the end of the month deposit.

Deposits from the Xbox LIVE Rewards program occurs around the 15th and 30th of each month. Deposits from the Program are in batches of 100 Points or more. Rewards Points deposits are labeled as Points Added or Rewards. The Microsoft Billing site will not
list out the specific Rewards opportunity that has been deposited. From there, the total amount of Rewards Points deposited should add up with the amount of awarded Rewards Points listed on the Xbox LIVE Rewards site. This is from the rewards rep. Here is

I've received the same thing. I've received a "$10 xbox live rewards deposit," and two "$5 xbox live rewards deposit." I thought this was kind of odd, as I did not request these. Also it states on the transaction record that these "deposits" are also "refunds." Weird!!!

Rewards credits are not like Microsoft Rewards points. The credits are deposited directly into your Xbox account as currency.

Thanks, that's mean for 50,000 rewards credits they will be directly deposited as USD $50 to my account? (I'm in the US)
