XBox Live Reward points pending

Hi,

My Xbox Rewards points are still showing as Pending, and I keep getting a message that "My account needs updating" to make a deposit.

The link takes me to my Microsoft account profile page, but with no indication as to what needs updating.

I raised a support post about 5 months ago, and was informed there was a database issue.

Since then I have had no response.

The original post was: Reward page showing "Your account needs updating to make a deposit!"

How long does it take for Pending Points to be deposited into my Xbox LIVE account?

A. It may take up to 45 days for pending points to be deposited into your Xbox LIVE account. Points will be deposited by the 15th of each month. Visit the Xbox LIVE Rewards website often to see which points are still pending and how many Rewards
Points you've been awarded. Pending Points will not display in your Total Rewards Points Awarded.

A. Microsoft Points earned through Xbox LIVE Rewards will be automatically deposited into your Xbox LIVE account by the 15th and 30th of each month. If your Point total is less than 100, the Points will be held as Pending Points until a quantity of
100 is reached. Check out the Points Pending tab on your
MyRewards page to see your Pending balance. Pending Points will not display in your Total Rewards Points

We see multiple possible issues on your account that are preventing a deposit. Since your Rewards Account is US and your Microsoft Account is set to the Great Britain region, a deposit will be impossible. USD from your Rewards Account cannot be deposited
into a Microsoft Account that will only accept GBP. Furthermore, we see that your Microsoft Account has no billable Account attached to it. Since we cannot deposit into Credit Cards, a deposit will be impossible. Please make sure you have followed the instructions
on our FAQ:

How do I make sure my Microsoft account is properly set up to receive Xbox Live Rewards deposits?

In order to receive deposits in the form of your country's local currency, your Microsoft account must be transitioned to currency. As long as you have a billing address on file in your account,
you simply need to redeem an Xbox gift card, a Microsoft Points card, or a Microsoft Points code with your Microsoft account to begin your account transition.

Also, if you wish to continue with Rewards in your current Xbox Live region, you must opt out of the program at (https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/), wait 48 hours and then sign back up again, which can also take
48 hours.

While you will lose your progress by starting a brand new account, you can start earning Rewards Credits that will successfully reward your newly registered regional currency.

To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date from the MyRewards page at (Xbox Live Rewards). If your join date shows a specific date, then your account
has successfully been re-registered. If you see “???” then your account is still being created. If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account to your new one.
