    Hello everyone,

    I'm just making a topic because I feel like there needs to be a serious redesign to this Xbox Live reputation system. Mainly because this has affected practically half of my friends and now myself as well. A lot of my friends and I, are relatively
    above average at Halo because we've been playing for 8-9 years. Me personally, the only time I use the block/report feature is when I get what they call "booters" in my game and they cheat.
    Unfortunately, Halo MCC has spawned this new generation of gamers that do this thing called "dodging." Essentially, if they can't beat someone or you play a game in a multi-game playlist that the other team doesn't like to play, then they block you.
    Enough people block you, and your rep goes down...

    This is extremely unfair because it makes it harder to find games in over all of Xbox LIVE and punishes me just because I happen to be good with the controller in my hands.. I can assure you I have never cheated a day in my life. Also, with
    the amount of harassment I constantly get in game chat just for being a girl, I literally never speak in game chat, so I'm 100% positive that it can't be anything I've ever said to anybody.

    This needs to be changed. Just my thoughts.

    Hi

    You will just need to be patient and your reputation should fix itself soon enough. Try playing some of the free MMO games on Xbox One such as Star Trek Online and this should help with improving your reputation.

    Xbox live reputation system needs to be abolished.

    I have not been subjected to the avoid me section, well not yet anyway but I have great concerns about the whole system and I want to know how Microsoft is handling the problem. Since people abuse the rep system so much it's not funny does anyone else agree?

    Xbox One and Xbox on Windows feature a completely overhauled and redesigned player reputation system. This system was designed to better your overall experience on Xbox Live by helping to improve the way that players interact with each other on the service.
    At its most basic, the reputation system rewards positive behavior (such as playing fairly and with good sportsmanship), and creates a downside for those that exhibit poor behavior (such as cursing, being disrespectful, or cheating).

    As I explained to you before to have a chance in bettering your rep, play different games that require coop and try to exercise good sportsmanship toward the other gamers.

    Going afk is a legitimate reason to report someone.

    It's considered unsporting conduct. Because you are taking up a spot that can be used by an active player.

    Sorry to hear about your issue. Please refer to the code of conduct https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/codeofconduct as you did agree to these terms when you signed up. Remember that
    Xbox Live is considered a rate E for Everyone service and all communications need to be at that level. Also Sony has a very similar code and the do enforce it too from what I've hear from others.
