    xbox live renewed, but can't access online mode


    hi all,

    my xbox live subscription expired a few days ago and i renewed it through the xbox store on my xbox one. Went to setting and checked my subscription and it is showing xbox live.

    But when i tried to play online on fifa 18 and halo 5, i get a error message saying i dont have the required privilege to access the online mode?? anyone else have experienced this issue from renewing through the xbox console?

    any help or suggestion will be much appreciated!

    Problem with xbox live

    I have xbox live membership but i can't play Online Games since last 7 month i was able to play online games but i don't know when yesterday i couldn't play online it says your profile doesn't have permission to access this features. yesterday my xbox live
    membership was renewed

    Recent renewals of your Gold subscription may not be immediately be seen by your Xbox console itself.

    This is typically fixed by performing a simple
    power cycle     on your Xbox. This will help clear and refresh the system cache, and you should be able to play online then.

    So if you can't access online modes in any game, it sounds like you may not currently have Xbox Live Gold status. Are you getting any particular error message or code (XBOS-0000 or 0x00000000) when you try to load into a game's online portion?

    Yes, you need to be able to sign into Xbox Live to access online features of games, which includes theater mode/vault!
